ANNHARRISON-BRONINSKI

After studying English (Oxford University) I worked as editor of an international business magazine then as journalist, writer, poet and critic. As performer, writer and director I take part in arts festivals, poetry cafes, theatre and concerts including a Guardian “Gig of the Week” and have been commissioned by the BBC. I regularly do live event drawing at jazz gigs, traditional music sessions, arts festivals, and elsewhere.
About

Poetry can change your response to life - engage emotions, encourage love of language, stimulate imagination, enhance self-knowledge, and develop understanding of the world. A poem can take you to a place where transformation is possible.
My recent projects included an art book of my dark comic poem "The Hag of Hythe" illustrated by Paul Boswell and a solo exhibition at the Cheese & Grain of my work as Frome Festival artist since 2015. Currently I am working on new book projects and an exhibition for next year.
